Learning

I've been back up to the office in St. Albans, where people are nicer and friendly and everything moves at a little slower pace than down here.

To exemplify, I've been trying in London to get a rucksack for my laptop and work junk as my current one is completely falling apart. I requested originally and they updated to say was ready, but when I visited less than ten minutes later they were out off stock.

Waited ages, and of course when I got to Germany last month it was ready. Told them I was outside the UK, and two days after I returned (full on at a client site), they closed the call and got rid of my rucksack.

I immediately reopened a call, and a day later they updated to say it's out of stock and they will update when one is available.

Yesterday I requested one for pickup at St. Albans, and today one was ready. The one snag is the IT person went home at 2.30, before I managed to pick it up. Thwarted again.

But otherwise training was all right, big work kicks off tomorrow, and I sit case next month. Should do all right as have been practicing loads, so hopefully in two months I'll be a qualified accountant.  Good times.
